Who's who: the Organ Scholar

David Hewett was appointed in September 1999 as our first Organ Scholar. He joined the choir as a probationer in 1990 and sang for over six years as a treble, also serving as Head Chorister for three of them. He now sings Alto when not accompanying the choir. A talented student and sportsman as well as singer, organist and cellist, David is planning begin a degree at the University of Warwick in September 2002. He is currently taking a break from his duties at the Abbey to travel around the world for three months.
