A wedding in the choir family

David Hewett, former Abbey organ scholar (and son of Dick Hewett, Decani bass), and Meghann Brook, founding member of the Abbey Girls' Choir (and daughter of Peter Brook, Cantoris tenor) were married in the Abbey on Saturday 2 July.

With a service that began with Parry's I was glad and incorporated a Nuptial Communion, as well as Wesley's Blessed be the God and Father, it was both a joyous and prayerful occasion, at which many members of the Abbey congregation were present.
