Singing for a good cause
The Girls' Choir has survived its busiest week since it started 3 years ago. With Candlemas on Wednesday 2 February, concerts in the Plaza on the following Friday and Saturday and then our usual service on the Sunday morning, it was a bit of a tiring time. However, we all enjoyed ourselves and feel that our singing was enjoyed by many people. We are also pleased to announce that the concert we participated in raised 582.25 for the Plaza Theatre Roof Appeal.
We have many exciting events coming up, including a concert with Michelmersh Silver Band and another Choral Evensong. We hope you will continue supporting the work of the Girls' Choir and look forward to seeing you at one of our services soon. We would also like to welcome two new members to the Choir. We are pleased that they have decided to join the "mad pack"!
