Meghann Brook reads the latest roll of honour
The talent at the Abbey
Luckily for me, the girls in the choir had lots of achievements during the course of last term, so I wont have to write very much for this update! I will, however, just outline our exciting plans for the term.
Our singing began again on the first Sunday of October, Harvest Festival, a service we all enjoy. We sang Choral Evensong on Saturday 14 October and in a new departure this year, we will be leading the Eucharist on All Saints Day on 1 November, for which we have been learning the Christchurch Mass by Malcolm Archer. I hope you will all be able to come and hear its début performance.
Now to those achievements from the Trinity Term:
| Laura Brown | Grade 5 Saxophone | Honours |
| Hannah Goodwin | Grade 2 Bassoon | Distinction |
| Laura Hammond | Grade 2 Flute | Pass |
| Rachel Howe | Grade 5 Piano | Merit |

Congratulations also to Jenna for gaining a place in both the Hampshire Youth Wind Orchestra and the Southampton Pops Orchestra on the Flute and Piccolo.
